Company

Pride of the Morning began life as Blackburn Eggs. As an employee of Blackburn Eggs, James Garfield Apple, worked as a driver, deliveryman, and egg handler. Garfield bought the company in the late 1970's and began looking for ways to expand. One of his first moves was to sell all the chickens to a soup company! He became an egg distributor instead of an egg producer. Always looking for ways to increase sales, Garfield started delivering some produce. By 1998, produce was almost half of the company's sales.

Today, along with his three sons, Garfield guides Pride of the Morning, into new areas. Dairy has been added and more products are coming soon!
